I started Recruiting-Services because I saw a gap in the market. Too many recruiters spam candidates with irrelevant opportunities and waste employers' time with unqualified resumes. I wanted to do things differently.
My background isn't typical for a recruiter. Before launching this firm, I spent years in enterprise B2B sales at CoStar Group, where I managed 174 accounts generating $196K in monthly recurring revenue. That experience taught me the value of relationships, understanding client needs deeply, and delivering results—not just activity.
When I transitioned into recruiting, I chose to specialize exclusively in cybersecurity. I've invested in understanding the industry—earning Google Cybersecurity and Vanderbilt AI certifications—because I believe you can't effectively recruit for roles you don't understand.
I'm based in Cumming, Georgia, and work with clients nationwide. Outside of work, I'm a husband and father of three (including twin boys), which keeps life interesting and gives me perspective on work-life balance.
I watched friends in cybersecurity get bombarded by recruiters who clearly didn't understand their roles. "Security Engineer" to them meant anyone with "security" in their title. I knew there had to be a better way.
General staffing agencies struggle with cybersecurity because it's technical, nuanced, and constantly evolving. By focusing exclusively on security, I can understand roles at a level that generalists can't.
Enterprise sales taught me that long-term success comes from building genuine relationships, not just closing deals. I apply that same philosophy to recruiting—treating every interaction as the start of a relationship, not a transaction.
Cybersecurity isn't just a niche I picked for business reasons. I'm genuinely fascinated by the field, constantly learning, and invested in helping both candidates and employers succeed in this critical industry.
